On December 12, 2007 at Hillhouse Hospice surrounded by his family, Fred Turack passed away from Brain Cancer.

His legacy lives on in the Blue Brain Bracelet Project, a bracelet that was created by his daughters Sydney and Samantha because his favorite color was blue.

Funds raised from the selling of these bracelets goes towards brain cancer research and care of patients.

Like an angel in the sky, this bracelet now has wings of its own.

Bead a thon’s are taking place across the city making bracelets to raise money and awareness for Brain Cancer.

Thank you so much for all your patience, emails and kind thoughts while we were caring for Fred.

We miss him very much, and we know that he would be so proud that this bracelet is making a difference in the lives of other brain cancer patients.
